A restaurant within a restaurant

On weekends, when the deli counter closes for the day, the dining room at Finest becomes something else entirely. The lights go down, the candles come out, and a short, changing menu takes over — pulled from generations of Italian traditions. We call it Nana's Neighborhood Italian.

The name comes from both Brooke and Mike's grandmothers. Mike's Nana cooks the way a lot of southern Italian grandmothers cooked: slowly, generously, and with a firm opinion about how things should be done. Sunday gravy that went on the stove in the morning and didn't come off until the house smelled right.

That's the spirit we're chasing. We pour wine by the glass and a few spritzes, and the room moves at a different pace than it does at lunch. Same counter, same dining room — just slower, warmer, and a little more Italian.

Nana's runs Friday and Saturday evenings, 5pm to 9pm. Walk-ins are welcome; if you've got a larger group, give us a call ahead. We'll save you a spot.
