Through the end of the month, we’re running a digital raffle. The prize? Dinner for two! Think freshly-rolled pasta, house-made focaccia served warm with olive oil, and a fresh, seasonal market salad.
Each entry in this raffle is $10, and all funds raised will be donated to Haywood Pantries, an incredible mutual aid organization that has been operating without barriers in our neighboring counties for 20+ years. It was through Haywood Pantries that we distributed nearly 10,000 meals after this year's winter storms. They also gave out 600 meals a day for 6 months after Hurricane Helene (with the generous support of @WCKitchen).
The work of Haywood Pantries reminds us that we can, and must, turn to each other in times of crisis. We intend for this raffle to help them rebuild inventory and capacity after a particularly busy last 18 months caring for their neighbors.
